About
Engineering clarity out of complex data systems
Cogni Platform is where I document the architectures I build, the trade-offs I weigh and the lessons that only show up once a system meets production traffic.
Why this exists
Most data problems are not solved by a new tool. They are solved by understanding where the data comes from, what the business actually needs from it, and which trade-off you are willing to live with for the next three years.
I work across data engineering, retrieval-augmented AI and cloud platform design. Everything published here comes from systems that shipped — including the parts that had to be rebuilt.
Data platforms
Ingestion, modelling, orchestration and the lakehouse layer underneath it all.
Applied AI and retrieval
Grounding language models in real company knowledge, then measuring whether it worked.
Cloud architecture
Designs that stay reliable and affordable as volume, teams and requirements grow.
Working on something similar?
I am always happy to compare notes on architecture, tooling and what did not work.
